BrandSweets bundles two third-party corpora. Both are open, and both are named here with the terms they arrived under. Everything else on the site — the extraction, the colour and contrast work, the typography pairing, the rendering — is ours.

Brand marks — Simple Icons (CC0-1.0)

Where a brand’s own site gave us no usable symbol, its mark variant comes from Simple Icons ↗, a public-domain collection of single-colour brand symbols. Those variants are credited on the page that shows them as “Marks from Simple Icons (CC0)” and carry their source in the variant’s own notes. A Simple Icons symbol is never used as a brand’s primary logo — it is a monochrome symbol, not the brand’s wordmark.

The Simple Icons project dedicates its icon data to the public domain under the
Creative Commons Zero v1.0 Universal (CC0-1.0) dedication. To the extent possible
under law, the Simple Icons Collaborators have waived all copyright and related
or neighbouring rights to the icon SVG path data.

CC0-1.0 waives copyright in the ARTWORK DATA. It does not, and cannot, grant any
trademark rights: each brand mark remains the trademark of its owner. Marks are
reproduced here nominatively, to identify the brand they belong to. Their
inclusion does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, that brand.

Gradients — uiGradients and WebGradients (MIT)

The 553 named gradients come from uiGradients and WebGradients, both MIT. MIT requires the copyright and permission notices to accompany the material, so they are reproduced verbatim on their own page.
